Benicassim is a coastal town approximately 11km south of Marina D'Or along the coast. It has a population of around 15,000 people, however during the summer months Benicassim swells with an influx of tourists bringing this figure up considerably. Benicassim is best known for being an upmarket Mediterranean destination and for its International Music Festival, widely considered to be an important indie music event.
